Atlanta Corporations and Entertainers Partner to Celebrate Eco-Friendly Living at First
Annual Green Day Fest

Creative Loafing, Underground Atlanta, MARTA and other businesses wrap-up Atlanta’s Earth
Week observance with live music and fun for all ages

Atlanta, Georgia – April 3, 2008 – On April 27th, Atlanta companies, entertainers, artists and residents
will join together to celebrate the First Annual Green Day Fest. Presented by Enviro Expo USA and
Underground Atlanta, Green Day Fest will honor the culmination of Earth Week with a fun-filled day of live
music, “green” arts and crafts, and educational activities for all ages. The event will be held at
Underground Atlanta from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and will be free and open to the public.

Eco-friendly living is no stranger to metro-Atlanta residents. The recent drought and interest in major
sustainable development initiatives has motivated many people to integrate eco-conscious habits into
their lifestyles. The Green Day Fest is the area’s first large-scale event to celebrate eco-friendly living in a
way that is fun and educational for all ages. This event will wrap up many of the area’s smaller
celebrations for Earth Day, Earth Week and Arbor Day

Green Day Fest has attracted sponsorships from prominent Atlanta companies and institutions, each of
whom have a strong commitment to making Atlanta a greener, more eco-friendly place to live. Corporate
sponsors include Creative Loafing, MARTA, AirTran, Caribou Coffee, Trader Joe’s, Boutier Winery and
Active Productions and Designs, Inc. The festival will feature live entertainment for children and adults,
with a musical line-up produced by World Events, Inc. that includes the League of Decency featuring
Tommy Dean and special guest vocalist Francine Reed, Barry Richman Band, A1A, Steve Baskin and
Tropical Steel Band.

Children and adults will have the opportunity to learn more about eco-friendly living through interactive
exhibits from local and national companies promoting sustainable lifestyles. These exhibits include the
Georgia State University Bio-Bus, a 30-foot long, self-contained, mobile science laboratory for school-age
children, as well as a display of hybrid cars representing the latest in automobile efficiency.

Representatives from the City of Atlanta will also be present to discuss the area’s long and short-term
plans to create a greener city, including Mandy Schmitt, director of sustainability for the City of Atlanta
and Terri Lee, the City’s director of housing. From 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., these speakers will introduce
an overview of Atlanta’s sustainability efforts as well as discuss the City’s efforts to provide green,
affordable housing to residents. Additionally, the event will feature local businesses offering “green”
products, arts and crafts.

Green Day Fest will donate a portion of all profits to Camp Twin Lakes, a not-for-profit organization that
offers year-round recreational, therapeutic, and educational programs for children facing serious illnesses
and other physical, emotional and life challenges. In addition to helping children, Camp Twin Lakes is
striving to create a 100 percent eco-friendly facility through the use of sustainable products, minimizing
environmental impacts, recycling and energy conservation.

Dianne Bennett, founder of Enviro Expo USA, comments: “Green Day Fest is a great opportunity for
people to come together and celebrate the progress we’ve made – and the progress we will continue to
make – in creating a more eco-friendly place for us to live our lives and raise our families.”

Local businesses are invited to showcase their “green” goods and services at the event. To learn more,
please contact Dianne Bennett at dianne@enviroexpousa.org. Enviro Expo USA and Underground
Atlanta urge Green Day Fest attendees to take MARTA to the event. More details about the Green Day
Fest can be found at www.enviroexpousa.org.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Green Day Fest, ENVIRO EXPO USA and Advances in Green Science and Technology Symposium
to Introduce Green Lifestyle Choices to Consumers in 2008

First annual Fest and Expo will entertain and teach consumers what it means to "go green"

(ATLANTA) January 3, 2008 - Enviro Expo USA, LLC, a nonprofit company dedicated to promoting sustainable lifestyles, today announced that Atlanta will host two of the nation's largest green lifestyle events in 2008. These events include the Green Day Fest to be held in Underground Atlanta on April 27, 2008 and the first annual ENVIRO EXPO USA conference and exposition to be held November 14-16, 2008 at AmericasMart. Both of these events will bring together a full spectrum of eco-conscious local businesses, suppliers, manufacturers and green experts to educate consumers on eco-friendly lifestyle choices.

These events will help consumers understand what it means to "go green" amidst the hype surrounding green marketing and product development. While many consumers are aware of green product choices, few actually understand the environmental impact of their current lifestyle choices. Both Green Day Fest and the ENVIRO EXPO USA will teach consumers what they can do to live a more eco-conscious life, while providing an entertaining and innovative forum for discussion and education.

Dianne Bennett, president of Enviro Expo USA, LLC comments: "Despite the fact that consumers are constantly bombarded with green products, our society is still suffering from severe inaction when it comes to the environment. Part of this is because we can't weed through all the hype to understand how each of us can make a difference. What makes a product green? How are businesses practicing environmental stewardship? What can I do to help? These are the questions the Green Day Fest and ENVIRO EXPO USA events will answer."

The Green Day Fest will celebrate the eco-friendly lifestyle by introducing consumers to various local businesses offering eco-conscious products and services, a diverse selection of local artisans, and live music and entertainment. This family-friendly event will be held from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on April 27th. Admission is free.

The three-day ENVIRO EXPO USA will feature a large exhibitor hall of local, regional and national businesses offering green products and services. Consumers will have the opportunity to interact and learn more about businesses in the following categories: water, energy, transportation/fuel, lawn/garden, building materials/remodeling, apparel, personal products, recreation/leisure, household products, furniture/carpeting and green financing. ENVIRO EXPO USA will also feature lively discussion, debate and presentations from green experts, local politicians and the nation's top eco-conscious business leaders. Admission to the exhibit hall will be free and open to the public.

The ENVIRO EXPO USA will be held in conjunction with the American Chemical Society's Technical Symposium. Chaired by Dr. Daniel W. Tedder, professor emeritus of chemical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, the technical symposium will feature academic and industrial presentations on "Advances in Green Science and Technology." To submit a presentation abstract on this topic, please review the Call for Papers.

Exhibitors interested in learning more about the Green Day Fest or ENVIRO EXPO USA should contact Dianne Bennett at 770.517.0447 or dianne@enviroexpousa.org. For more information on these events, please visit www.enviroexpousa.org.
