Dr. Daniel William Tedder
Dr. Dan Tedder is Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering at the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology. At Georgia Tech, Dr. Tedder was a valued addition to the faculty and pursued his interest in radioactive and chemical waste management. He holds over seven patents and has contributed to more than 70 influential technical and environmental publications and edited 11 books.
In 1993 Dr. Tedder was elected chairman of the Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Division of the American Chemical Society. He successfully organized nine national Symposia on Emerging Technologies in Hazardous Waste Management producing five volumes in the ACS Symposium Series. Dr. Tedder initiated Enviro Expo as an extension to the technical symposia to offer the attendees a "hands on" opportunity to share new ideas and concepts.
The 2008 Advances in Green Science and Technology Symposium will continue under Dr. Tedder's direction as he once again brings together the public and private sectors to explore the sciences and encourage new environmental technologies that will insure a better and greener tomorrow.
Dianne M. Bennett
Dianne Bennett is a Special Event Planner and Exhibition Manager with over 25 years experience in the Southeast. Dianne has a variety of experience with her creative ability and organizational skills that insures a successful event. Her career includes organizing exhibitions, education training programs, technical seminars, sporting events, new product training, fundraisers, and incentive programs. As a planner, Dianne has a proven track record producing successful events with The Atlanta Hawks, Hewlett Packard, Bell South Advertising, Spartan Foods, and many other corporations.
In her role as Exhibition Manager, Dianne is highly recognized for producing and managing the Inaugural ING Georgia Marathon Health and Fitness Expo. This inaugural event was rated as one the most creative and successful race supporting expositions nationally. Over 40,000 attendees, exhibitors, staff, and volunteers were treated to a world class event.
Dianne was key in initiating Enviro Expo and Emerging Technologies in Hazardous Waste Management Symposium in 1991-1996 with Dr. Dan Tedder. Dianne looks forward to joining with Dr. Tedder and once again to develop The Inaugural 2008 Enviro Expo USA.
